The process for obtaining these properties is to submit a bid thru a registered Broker, which can be done thru our team, Minnesota's Real Estate Team and Re/Max Advantage Plus. These bids will be reviewed by HUD and the highest acceptable net bid will be selected. Investors are required to put down 25% down on these properties. Earnest money that is required is $1,000 for offers greater than $50,000; (not to exceed $2000). Currently, HUD will pay up to and may not exceed 3% of all closing costs considered to be reasonable and customary in the jurisdiction where the property is located.
